Under the direction of the Instructional Services Manager this individual will concept, design and execute product-guides that communicate instructions and brand messages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design instructional communication which includes:
  • Researching relevant product and competitive information.
  • Understanding brand strategy, as well as Marketing and Design & Development objectives.
  • Conceptualizing and presenting multiple concepts to meet brand messaging objectives , deliver play experience and story.
  • Executing product guides that effectively communicate product assembly and operation.
  • Refining product guide solutions with integrated feedback.
  • Providing progress reports.
  • Collaborate with product development teams which includes:
  • Initiating and attending team meetings, product kick-offs, approval meetings, and status meetings.
  • Monitoring legal, licensor and regulatory requirements.
  • Identifying and developing process improvements.
  • Manage projects and delegate individual assignments which includes:
  • Driving multiple projects throughout staggered stages of development.
  • Delegating individual design projects to HFE production designers, internal agency temps, and outside vendors.
  • Prioritizing work to maximize support and ensure high quality results.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to absorb, process, distill and communicate complex information.
  • Expert knowledge of CS5 InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of and experience with production requirements and printing.
  • Ability to build a production ready file.
