Graphic Designer - Global Power

Our global client is looking to add a versatile Graphic Designer to their team.

This individual will be responsible for assisting in the development of communications projects such as brochures, catalogs, direct mail, corporate identity and advertising. They will be self-motivated with strong creative and production skills. They will be required to take projects through completion with a concentrated effort in typography, design, and layout.


This role specifically supports Art Directors and creative team leaders for Global Power. Working with team account and project managers, this individual will be focused on projects and deliverables including logo and identity development, product launch materials and campaigns, literature, co-op advertisements, counter displays, environmental graphics, signage, point-of-sale materials, sales and training collateral materials, and may include video and digital content.

Design and production skills need to be strong to take previously conceptual projects through design, refinement, and completion; including working with production managers to ensure files are properly released to external production vendors.

Design, layout and production of advertising promotional materials for the Kitchen and Bath division.

Work with key graphic design applications and operating systems including: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Abobe Illustrator, and Mac OS.

Maintain awareness of current trends in visual arts, advertising, design, technology, printing and internet applications.

Work closely with Art Directors, Creative Writers, Creative Services team members and Account Service to ensure a clear understanding of strategic and creative direction of each project.

Work closely with Production Designers and Print Management team to ensure project will produce accurately.

Ensure consistency and accuracy of overall brand communications through close attention to detail.


Supervisory Relationships

• Assists Art Directors in development of advertising and collateral materials.

Organizational Relationships

Close working relationships with the Manager-Print Design, Art Directors, Art Production Manager, Production Designers, Creative Writers and Account Service team.

External Relationships

• Occasional contact with outside advertising agencies, design studios, photographers and illustrators.

• Occasional contact with outside film houses, paper suppliers and printing companies.


BFA/BA in Graphic Design/Commercial Art and 1-3 years Graphic Design experience in an advertising agency, design studio or corporate in-house department.

Must have strong design and production ability.

Must have working knowledge of Macintosh computer and supporting software.

Must be a team player and work well with a diverse group of individuals.

Must have good written and verbal communication skills.

Must pay close attention to detail.

Must be able to meet deadlines.
