Graphic Design/Production Manager

A small marketing team at a F500 company is looking for a Senior designer to be responsible for leading and management of their B2B Creative Services design production team. In addition to providing hands on design production support, provides direction to the team in development of assigned projects. Supervises the work of all production designers, working closely to mentor them and develop their skills and meet all assignment with the highest quality.

· Responsible for flawless execution of design concepts developed by the Creative Services and external agencies and consultants.
· Manages efficient production of edits, updates, and revisions to existing production projects or templated creative.
· Directs and guides designers in production of files, ensuring that all work produced is accurate, technically correct, high-quality, and press-ready.
· Ensures a creative consistent look and feel that adheres to and supports brand, visual, and messaging standards.
· Manages workflow and resources to ensure timely and successful project completion.
· Provides recommendations regarding production, outsourcing, workflow, traffic, processes, methodologies and other opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and profitability
· Works closely with other designers, project manager, traffic managers, service group managers, and business partners

Minimum Qualifications
· 7-10 years of related work experience, supporting clients in a high-traffic design environment
· 5 years’ experience leading a graphic design team preferably in an agency or an agency-like environment servicing multiple internal or external clients.
· 3-5 years management experience
· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suites software in Mac and PC environment
· Possesses strong understanding of creative development process, graphic design, digital, and prepress including layout, typography, color, retouching concepts, and information design
· Rich portfolio of work examples in a variety of medium (collateral materials, websites, presentations, advertisements, graphics, multimedia, video, etc.)
· Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and develop creative design within tight deadlines

Preferred Skills
· Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field
· Experience in the production of marketing materials and assets across offline and online channels
· Ability to manage all aspects of design projects and synthesize direction from many individuals
· Meticulous with design details, accuracy, and quality
· Extremely organized, manage large volume of projects and related files
