Graphic Design Specialist

Uses knowledge of current graphic design software in the production of collateral, packaging, display and advertising projects. Works in a highly collaborative environment. Generates and manipulates graphic elements, images, charts and text into consolidated advertising outputs. Typical duties include document production, pre–flight formatting, collecting, processing, checking and uploading files. Adept in using multiple software applications such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, QuarkXPress, MS Office and Acrobat. Must have solid knowledge of printing and production processes, a keen attention to detail and excellent troubleshooting skills. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a Graphic Design Manager..


The Ideal Candidate:
• Has a solid understanding of printing and production processes, pre-press, proofing and specifications.
• Keeps abreast of technology and software advances in the field and is able to apply such advances to his/her daily tasks.
• Will consistently communicate with team members regarding project details, specifications and status.
• Is organized and has a keen attention to detail.
• Has ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment.
• Has strong communication skills
• Although this is a highly process-driven role, he/she has great deal of creative sensitivity.
• Is a self-starter.
• Has at least 3 years of graphics/production experience.
• Has experience in financial services (a plus but not required)
• Has a degree or its equivalent (a plus but not required)

• CS4 - including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat Pro
• QuarkXPress
• MS Word
• MS PowerPoint


Desired Additional Software
• Excel
• Mac and PC cross-platform experience
• Flash
• HTML
• Other multi-media
