Graphic Artist

Our client delivers innovative high-fidelity aviation simulation and training solutions to the commercial and military markets.

The Graphic Artist must be personable, take-charge individuals with dynamic organizational skills and be comfortable and capable working in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities:
• Confers with management and staff to determine training objectives
• Proficient in the creation of 2D & 3D graphics and animation for Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) courses
• Convert engineering drawing formats (AutoCAD, Catia, Unigraphics) to formats delivered over the Internet
• Proficient in the use of Adobe Creative Suite 3 and similar programs
• Content is built for instructional design and will work on a Flash platform. (Motion graphics, interactive flash presentations, special effects, 3D character animation, 2D / 3D scenarios, video, etc.)
• Ability to take and offer direction
• Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work either cooperatively or independently on projects
• Collaborate on or provide suggestions on preparing of design layouts, specifications and mechanicals for Level three Interactive Media Instruction (IMI)
• Work with team to develop design concepts, gather information, discuss alternatives, gain approval and review publications
• Keep abreast of recent developments and technologies in the graphic arts field
Qualifications

• Requires a minimum of three years experience as a Graphic Artist
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and experience to demonstrate the ability to successfully perform the job duties
• Experience and samples of previously done graphics/ animation work depicting real life objects
• Experience in graphics development for IMI, JavaScript, XML, and SCORM
