Graphic / Web Designer (Fashion, Ecommerce)

The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating a high quality, on-brand shopping experience.

This position holds a key role to maintain a consistent design aesthetic for our website, emails and online marketing. The design must inspire and inform the customer as well as the internal team — providing both the best service and style tips — and communicate the inspiration behind the brand, seasonal collections and trends. The design must elegantly marry content and commerce.


Maintain seasonal refreshes for the website, adhering to existing design templates and brand guidelines
Design various email marketing campaigns using both existing templates and concept new templates as needed
Collaborate with Retail and Marketing teams to ensure consistency of messaging for each initiative across the brand
Inject seasonal inspiration into appropriate projects and keep current with trends so design reflects marketplace and cultural relevance
Design for various projects and initiatives across channels (ex: special curated shops/sections, seasonal/holiday, new category launches)
Work on marketing projects (special events, invites, offers)
Attend seasonal planning meetings and weekly marketing, web production /merchandising, creative review and content meetings. Ensure key initiatives for each season are executed online.


Serve as contact person on daily basis with marketing/merchandising teams for site refreshes and emails
Forge strong working relationship with merchandising and marketing to ensure all visual design is consistent and on-brand
Work with marketing partners to research what’s appropriate/relevant in new markets; learn and implement best-practices.


Bachelor’s degree
Mac O/S
3-4 years professional experience (E-commerce and/or Retail experience preferred)
Extensive knowledge of Adobe CS: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, ImageReady
Dreamweaver and/or Flash knowledge a plus
UX design knowledge a plus
Photo retouching and color correction
Clean design aesthetic
Deep understanding and knowledge of luxury fashion, style and culture
Online fluency (websites, blogs, etc.) and the curiosity to learn more
Knowledge of trends and best-practices in the design landscape
Strong communication skills and collaborative personality
Highly organized, with meticulous attention to details and deadlines
Ability to multi-task, adapt and re-prioritize in response to growing company needs
Flexibility to balance editorial and business needs
Must be self-motivated and have a positive attitude
