Globalization Program Manager

As Globalization Program Manager you will lead an entire globalization program area. You will be responsible for planning and budgeting of your globalization projects on an annual and quarterly basis, working closely with director level managers in United States, Asia, Europe and Latin America. You will work as a strategic partner to our corporate and regional stakeholders to develop the global plans for localization of the partner training materials, partner support collateral, partner-facing tools, etc. Globalization is an important corporate initiative that you will champion; you will be responsible for negotiating and driving new globalization initiatives from the ground up with director and executive level stakeholders.

Define and plan globalization program; work with stakeholders to understand their strategy and overall priorities, plan and budget annual and quarterly needs, determine requirements and risks, identify and champion solutions, and plan and execute the overall schedule to successful completion. You will negotiate priorities with corporate and regional stakeholders, responsible for clear communications and management of expectations Supports all phases of projects from inception through completion. Acts as primary contact for project activities, leading project review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration and test. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies project problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Liaise with business functions to understand ongoing needs Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.

Requirements
1. 10+ years program management experience required, preferably working in globalization field.
2. Bachelor’s degree in languages, computer science, or relevant technical field.
3. Relationship management skills to build solid relationships with our stakeholders and partners.
4. Solid and demonstrated budgeting skills; experience forecasting and managing changes to work within multi-million dollar budget.
5. Excellent negotiation skills to facilitate and build consensus, juggling many competing priorities.
6. Results-oriented, can-do attitude, working on challenging international environments across many time zones.
7. Software or localization project management experience.
8. Familiarity with HTML, XML, and desktop publishing. Familiarity with localization tools and processes.
9. Skilled in driving initiatives across the organization and building coalitions.
10. Excellent verbal / written communication and analytical skills and the ability to work well within a diverse, geographically distributed, multicultural environment.

Localization experience a plus.
