A Round Rock based global technology solutions provider is looking for a Global Visual Social Media Program Manager who would be focused on supporting global social business strategy through an in-depth, hands-on approach to understanding how social media impacts organizations and growing that impact through visual social media and social video. The ideal candidate will have an intensive understanding of overall social media, visual content and video in social media, digital engagement, and its impact to business.

Job Summary
Social media has increased in significance to businesses and as such, businesses must embed social throughout their organization for success. We want to embrace the capabilities that exist through social media in order to cultivate a more meaningful relationship to our customers and to our business. It is mission critical in this role to understand how to tie value back to intended business outcomes. An unquenched thirst for driving results, testing theories, and piloting new projects are highly desired.

How success is measured:
• Enablement of social business programs within BUs and Regions
• Education and activation of best practices and innovation within social media
• Packaging learning from external and internal resources into usable case studies
• Effective communication measured by stakeholder feedback and activation
• Demonstrable results delivered by visual social media and social video

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to optimize the customer experience through full-funnel marketing specific to YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, Flickr, Vine, and emerging visual and video social platforms such as Snapchat.
• Stay abreast of current best practices for social media and seek out emerging practices
• Guide creation of social reporting to map social impact to business outcome
• Run pilot projects in partnership with Business Units and Regions
• Create strong relationships with stakeholders and provide solutions for pain points
• Support partner relationships with key social networks, agencies, and consultants
• Gathers and translates ideas into profitable, scalable solutions
• Executes platform engagement and community management strategy for specified platforms and scales engagement strategies to remaining organization
• Research emerging platforms and/or opportunities for social business expansion
• Analyze, review and report on effectiveness of platform strategies and pilots
