Long term contract with Fortune 500 Social Media Tech company!

Our client is looking for a seasoned social media manager with experience in marketing and/or communications for consumer-facing brands. This position sits in the Corporate Communications team and will be responsible for leading social media company-wide and managing our corporate social media channels.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Lead global social media organization. This may include:
o Having bi-weekly one-on-one meetings with social media representatives
o Managing quarterly meetings with social media representatives and managers
o Contributing to planning and execution of internal Annual Social Media event
o Sending weekly newsletter to social media team
o Maintaining resource center for internal stakeholders
• Serve as Company Administrator and relationship owner for our social media engagement solution, Spredfast
• Manage corporate social media accounts daily. This may include:
o Managing corporate blog editorial calendar
o Curating and crafting content for corporate social media channels (Corporate blog, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Google+, YouTube, SlideShare) that align with our brand personality
o Visually refreshing social media accounts once a quarter with support from Design team
o Partnering closely with Consumer and Brand teams to strategically leverage our corporate social media channels
o Working with Social Media Customer Service team to ensure we’re consistently serving our members’ needs in social
o Managing Member Stories blog series
• Report monthly on owned social media channels and overall brand in social media with support from agency. Includes reporting on social listening for big announcements and campaigns

Required Skills:
• 6+ years in Communications or Marketing
• 3+ years’ experience with social media for a brand
• Experience using WordPress or similar for blogging, Spredfast or other social media management solution for social media management
• Strong relationship building skills
• Strong writing skills to manage editorial calendar for social media properties

Preferred Qualities:
• BA/BS degree; advanced degree a plus
• Expertise in working cross-functionally and influencing across boundaries
• Strong results orientation in dynamic, high-growth, fast paced environments with proven track record of delivering on projects with tight deadlines and cross-functional dependencies
• Quick learner who has the ability to solve problems independently
• Strong analytical skill and proven record of measuring and analyzing results
