A global luxury lifestyle brand is looking to bring on a Social Media Manager to their Global Digital Marketing Team.

The Global Social Media Manager will manage the social media channels for , bringing to life the voice and luxury lifestyle of the brand. The Social Media Manager will develop social content at a global and local level, supporting launches and key franchises through social campaigns, as well as liaise with the brand's fashion house and Fragrances digital teams in key markets to ensure global and localized content is engaging and on-brand. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for calendar reviews, social media publishing, digital project management, and analytics reporting. 

This is a full-time consulting position as a W2 Employee receiving an hourly rate, health benefits and 401K.

Responsibilities include:

 Help create global social media strategies and programs (paid and organic) for all brands within the company. Align with global market teams to coordinate local market activations
 Develop social content at a global and local level
 Manage strategy and content creation for the brand's-owned properties (Facebook and Pinterest); submit content suggestions for the company's-owned social channels (YouTube, Twitter and Instagram); identify and strategize opportunities on emerging platforms (Snapchat)
 Provide expert knowledge in social media strategy, content creation, execution and performance metrics
 Work closely with the the brand's social team to ensure that digital content continues to be on-brand and best-in- class
 Manage the brand's social photographer from concept to delivery of assets
 Collaborate with the brand's PR and Marketing teams to develop the social media strategy for new product launches and key moments in time
 Partner with PR to communicate consistent messaging on social channels
 Manage the final execution of the brand's social content. Post all content to Facebook, including geo-targeted posts in approved languages
 Interpret social media metrics to educate the brand's team and inform social media strategy moving forward
 Manage the Facebook Content Calendar and associated photoshoots (to be approved and validated by the brand and licensor)
 Maintain relationships with reps from key social platforms to ensure the brand's is utilizing the best and most up-to- date products and strategies

Candidate should possess: 
 Strong knowledge and background in social media management – including content creation and successful digital programs 
 Previous experience managing social media for a global brand—strategizing and executing social content at the global level, plus working with local markets on localized content
 Digital and social media agency experience is a plus
 Excellent writing, proofreading and copy-editing skills (writing samples upon request) 
 Ability to create beautiful marketing materials (Powerpoint) and deliver compelling presentations
 Project Management experience
 Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
 Ability to work cross-functionally with various stakeholders (Global Marketing, PR, the brand's, Key Local Markets, Corporate Social Intelligence Teams)
 Strong relationships with key social platforms
 Expertise in weaving social content into a full digital media plan
 Beauty and/or luxury experience a plus
