Global Senior Creative Manager - £85K DOE

The role establishes the conceptual and stylistic direction for design staff and orchestrates their work, as well as the work of printers, external designers, and anyone else who is involved in the development of a project. The Creative Manager generally selects vendors, working closely with the Global Brand Director, and has global creative authority. S/he is accountable for promoting and protecting the integrity of the brand across all channels, both print and online.

The Global Senior Creative Manager leads the team to work within established processes to most efficiently deliver accurate work within agreed deadlines. S/he is responsible for accurate and prompt prioritisation of workflow and allocation of work and works closely with internal clients to ensure briefing is correct for the creative team to action.

• Manage, grow, and mentor an internal global team based currently across the firm's London, Warsaw, DC, Toronto and Berlin offices.
• Manage and work with external contract designers. Foster a creative environment that is conducive to creative development.
• Hands on design capability while juggling multiple geographies and projects.
• Determines production schedule by working with BD, Comms, and Digital; outlining basic presentation concepts; coordinating creative activities.
• Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; recommending changes to art, copy writing, and production.
• Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to requirements.
• Responsible for overall creative project management working with Brand Managers, including successful job flow, tracking each job through completion and delivery
• Leads the development and execution of a wide variety of marketing collateral, including ads, brochures, bids, annual reports, presentations, charts, graphs, event materials, and special projects – in both print and electronic formats
• Manages the transition of work across time zones to meet deadlines
• Acts as second-in-command within the creative function in the Global Brand Director's absence

Competancies:
• Possesses advanced knowledge of design and applications related to brand identity. Adobe Creative suite including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop as well as Powerpoint, Word
• Provide creative solutions with and ability to create new ideas and rapidly act to move to implementation

Essential:
• University degree or university level diploma in graphic and/or web design
• Substantial experience at a design firm, agency, or in-house design department.
• Advanced understanding of branding, corporate identity systems and identity application
• Demonstrated ability to deliver successful brand initiatives from concept through to completion
• Technical knowledge of printing and online production processes
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to quickly establish good working relationships and promote best practice across all offices and at all levels
• Excellent level of computer literacy, proficient in all Microsoft Office
• Excellent attention to detail with a methodical approach to work, including a strong focus on accuracy and an understanding of the need for documentation and well-defined procedures
