Global Project Manager - Medical Education- DIABETES expert!

The Global Medical Education Project Manager leads development and approval of medical education tactics supporting one or more brands. This particular role supports the client’s diabetes products. In this position you will manage internal and external partners, agencies, and contributors in development of these resources primarily focused on peer-to-peer promotional programs (e.g. lectures, videos, and peer discussion groups) for Healthcare Professional customers.



The GME PM ensures activities are in full compliance with appropriate regulations and policies and can effectively apply and articulate strategy and goals of the resource in conversations with regulatory partners. This is an on-going salaried contract position working on site at the client’s offices in North Wales.



Primary Activities:

  • Complete annual and ongoing needs assessments around promotional medical education plan and content necessary to execute brand strategies
  • Oversee development of medical education program talk titles,learning objectives, core messages, and resources
  • Direct the development and production of content, using outside vendors
  • Collaborates with internal and external experts in the content development and approval process (ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations)
  • Manage workflow that supports Speaker Preparation Meeting (training) agenda and content
  • Obtain Medical/Legal approval and support for relevant medical education resources and activities
  • Seek innovative medical education delivery formats, makes recommendations, shares best practices
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure successful integration and execution of approved elements
  • Maintain adequate level of scientific and market knowledge



Skills and abilities required to be successful in this role:

  • Minimum B.S./B.A. degree, advanced degree desirable
  • 2-4 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical marketing- and/or sales-related function with strong scientific knowledge
  • Prior experience leading development of marketing or promotional resources
  • Medical marketing communications experience (CME or promotional) desirable
  • Very strong project management skills
  • Ability to work in teams and to integrate multiple work streams
  • Ability to manage vendors and interact with thought leaders
  • Demonstrated ethics and integrity
