Global Presentations Specialist

My client is looking for a Global Presentations Specialist to join the Creative Services team.

The team seeks to provide a high quality service to internal clients through the editing and creation of PowerPoint presentations, Word documents and Excel reports as well as providing expert knowledge in MS Office applications in order to raise individual skills. The team works within two sets of branding guidelines, often to extremely tight deadlines and liaises with all levels of personnel.

In this role you will use a Global Presentation System (GPS) which is a database of approved PowerPoint slides for marketing purposes. The successful candidate’s key title will be as GPS Publisher thus publishing and managing slides in GPS. He/she will also spend the remainder of their time (30-40%) dealing with regular CS activities and must become well versed in their Design Guidelines to ensure all materials meet the bank’s branding standards.

Ongoing duties

• Maintain GPS by upload new/edited slides to GPS
• Manage the GPS Checklist; keep inventory of approved GPS slides and ensure correct metadata applied to slides
• Deal promptly with any GPS issues: keep detailed records of issues in order to liaise with IT
• Edit/create presentations to ensure correct marketing messages and client standards are met
• Become an expert on style guidelines
• Provide support in PowerPoint, Excel and Word and brand specific toolbars and templates
• Liaise with A&Q teams who have marketing material requirements

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• Time management skills through effective scheduling and planning
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to demonstrate good judgement and a logical approach
• Ability to prioritize and work under pressure to meet demanding deadlines
• Excellent working knowledge of PowerPoint, with a good knowledge of Word and Excel. Note: DTP applications (Photoshop, InDesign etc) are rarely used
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Friendly and positive approach to clients
• A pro-active, quick, enthusiastic and flexible approach.
• Self starter: candidate must be able to work unsupervised, have high standards of time keeping and must work diligently
