Global Online Marketing Manager

As the Global Online Marketing Manager you will serve as the steward of the Company’s voice for all aspects of the firm’s online presence aimed at global talent. The manager will be responsible for creating compelling content and disseminating it via client's career website and social media platforms to attract and excite the world’s top talent. The manager will define and execute the firm’s social media strategy for reaching and engaging this crucial audience and will serve as the career website’s functional expert, working closely with the firm’s technical teams to overhaul and then maintain the website. The manager will supervise two online marketing specialists and informally direct differing cross-functional teams.


Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute and grow companies online marketing strategy—using both the career website and social media assets—to help achieve the firm’s global recruiting objectives; look to continuously improve the online experiences of this target audience through product innovations, site enhancements, marketing campaigns and creative content; stay abreast of changes in the online marketing environment and adjust the strategy accordingly
  • Advance the intelligent, targeted use of companies social media assets and manage companies presence on sites including Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter; post relevant blogs and seed content to raise companies people brand profile; become an advocate of the firm in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions
  • Write copy, produce content and re-purpose materials optimized for the web and consistent with the companies Voice; create content in a variety of formats including web copy, social media posts, blogs, online contests, interactive graphics, videos, podcasts, webinars and email communications
  • Employ creative tactics to compile compelling content from global stakeholders—including firms top thought leaders and talent leadership—for both the website and social media assets; maintain a robust publishing plan; institute a work flow for requesting, creating, editing, publishing and retiring content; manage a blogger outreach program, establish regular contribution from topical experts and build an active brand ambassador network to spread the word online about the firm and our employee value proposition
  • Contribute to the relaunch of the firms career website on their new state-of-the-art Content Management System—gather user requirements, advise on design, provide a point of view on usability approach and drive the creation of all the content; advise the online technical team to develop and maintain the new site; keep site content fresh and relevant
  • Identify, create and lead online marketing campaigns and contests that build brand awareness and enhance brand perception; use online website registration data and social networking introductions to tailor programs for target audiences
  • Determine best practices for evaluating and analyzing online performance; create and implement measurement and tracking strategies, providing analysis and reports; formulate recommendations based on the analysis and take action; benchmark regularly against offerings from the firms top competitors
