Global Marketing Specialist

This consulting opportunity focuses on strategy and management of marketing communications plans and tactics supporting our client’s Global business. The role is part of the an internal agency and works in close partnership with the Marketing Strategy group as well as various specialty marketing and communications groups and other partners (e.g. Sales, Creative, Internal Communications, Brand, Customer Experience, Research, Public Relations, Business Communications, Digital/Social Media, Events & Sponsorships) and external partners (e.g., production vendors, agencies, printers) to ensure timely and flawless delivery of marketing programs. This position provides impact by understanding the Global Marketing objectives and recommending new, on-brand, creative and differentiating marketing communications tactics, by recognizing opportunities to increase the consistency of messaging to employers, producers and customers, and by providing synergistic opportunities to reduce costs.
Responsible for ensuring the timely and effective development, approvals and execution of the marketing communications plans

Responsibilities:
-Work with Global Marketing Managers to obtain Product Positioning Statements for use in marketing communications planning.
-Responsible for ensuring the timely and effective development and execution of marketing communication plans and tactics.
-Develop Marketing Communications Plans, Project Proposals and Creative Briefs supporting client and customer communications, including collaboration with subject matter experts and other matrix partners. Ensure messaging aligns with the Global Positioning, the brand, customer-centricity and other objectives as appropriate.
-Continually watch for opportunities to innovate, which can include process, media/ tactics, and other ideas intended to improve competitive position in Global marketing communications.
- Initiate projects with Creative Services and production team to support the development of production schedules and budget estimates to meet project requirements
-Provide additional information via Kickoff Meetings and as necessary to enable copywriters, designers, illustrators and creative vendors to create and execute on concepts and messaging.
-Secure final sign-offs from subject matter experts, project owners and compliance/legal team.
-Collaborate effectively across functional areas to optimize and leverage programs where opportunities exist.
-Establish and track program metrics to demonstrate business value and impact.
-Collaborate with appropriate agency team members to validate and implement improvements.
-Responsible for formulating strategies and tactics that convey the most effective market messaging to target audiences, clearly define the company as a global leader, and position it’s programs and services for high visibility with prospective clients, existing clients, producers and the individual customer.
-Works with partners to develop messaging and customize presentations and other materials to customer-specific needs.
-Ensures plan execution stays within designated budget
-Through collaboration with internal stakeholders, is responsible for ongoing project updates to management and internal clients
