Global Junior Social Media Planner and Buyer

Manage the social planning and buying function of our client's global relationship with Nike across
multiple categories and territories.

Principal accountabilities:

  • Set-up Nike global account on social optimization platform.
  • Set-up Nike on Facebook, Twitter or any future social real time planning and buying campaigns for Nike.
  • Plan, guide and recommend social media planning and buying solution for Nike globally.
  • Optimize social activity, driving social engagement and key moments activation around the year.
  • Set-up targeting segments and recommended growth approach.
  • Responsible for daily analysis / optimization.
  • Regular and final reporting.
  • Ongoing budget management.
  • Setup centre of excellence for social optimization. COE will feed Nike teams around the world.
  • Write best practice, how to guides for all markets globally.
  • Help other territories get on board with the platform (from Peru to Japan to Sweden).
  • Training point person for new territory on-boarding of the platform.
  • Gain additional strategic insight into the Nike Global Brand.

  • Key competencies:

  • Build Relationships: Maintains a regular contact base with the markets, clients, media and relevant partners.
  • Open: Develops monthly/periodic forums for sharing with other teams/markets.
  • Collaborative: Works well with international Nike teams and external agency partners.
  • Technical capability: Works with data to drive low cost per engagement acquisition

  • Key skills & knowledge:

  • Awareness and understanding of research tools, syndicated services and publicly available data.
  • Partners and Suppliers: Up to date knowledge of rights owners, media owners, content owners, production agencies, research companies and
    other suppliers which we could partner with.
  • Sector Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of sporting sector.
  • Client Knowledge: Identifies and actions opportunities to deliver innovation
  • International: Requires knowledge of international media environments – specifically Asia, LATAM and Europe.
  • Media knowledge: Utilization of Twitter, Facebook, Google real time buying tools.
  • Minimum of two years’ social media planning and buying experience.
  • Strong project management and web skills.
  • Independent self-starter; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
