The Director will play a key role within the Visual Merchandising and Store Design team in the
development and execution of global merchandising store design.
Develop strategies to support these initiatives for in-store execution
Collaborate with internal departments (Creative, Marketing, Sales, International and Finance) on store
design and merchandising solutions aligned with brand strategy and budgets.
Maintain consistently high visual standards throughout all environments regular store visits
Ensure a luxury and consistent look and feel at all points of purchase. Establish a strong brand presence
in a highly competitive marketplace.
Develop and maintain a set of merchandising guidelines to the highest possible standards across
domestic and international distribution
Analyze (with sales and marketing partners) assortment strategy according to sales metrics, and ensure
merchandising plan is in line with SKU performance
Write, prototype & develop merchandising training modules
Must have strong design ability and understanding of rapid prototyping to effectively communicate
ideas and concepts
Initiate and develop tools to aid markets with keeping up to date with new collateral launches and new
Maintain awareness of current trends in visual merchandising; as well as up-to- date awareness of the
brand’s visual retail presence relative to competition
Must have 8-10 years of experience in visual merchandising
Bachelors degree in design
Must be proficient in Sketchup software
Rhino, Studio Max or Keyshot software experience a plus
Beauty experience is a plus
Adobe Creative Suite
