The role must start ASAP, working IN the downtown Chicago office. It requires a minimum of 5-7 years advertising experience, coupled with a minimum of 3 years working specifically within the digital area of banner or content based advertising. This role is 40 hours per week and will likely extend through August 2014 with the possibility of yearly extensions after that.

Job description:

Reporting to the Manager of Global Digital Advertising, the contractor will be responsible for helping implement the digital advertising campaigns. The senior specialist level contractor will execute digital content strategy for Global Image campaigns across 9 countries, as well as display campaigns specific to service offerings and vertical support for industry group initiatives. The contractor will also be responsible for ad campaign assets for the companies website and non-Tier1 campaign reporting. The contractor will work with the Global Advertising, Web Metrics and Internet Marketing teams, as well as an external team comprised of media planners and buyers, creatives and account executives across 3 agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Work with the Manager of Global Digital Advertising to support the evolution of the global advertising content strategy including management of content pipeline, preparation and handoff to media agency, and ongoing optimization.
• Liaise with geographies and foster integration amongst cross-functional team members and agency partners to achieve flawless execution for all global campaigns requiring translations and landing page development.
• Work with Global Advertising team members to ensure timely development of short form as well as long form content for case study fulfillment.
• Work with Global Advertising and internet marketing team members to ensure timely hand-off of ad campaign assets for use on companies website.
• Partner with the web analytics team to monitor campaign activities to continuously optimize performance.
• Partner with internet marketing leads, key marketing contacts and manage agency relationships to deliver projects on time and on budget.
• Manage campaign reporting for non-Tier 1 markets.
• Oversee interactive issues log to document, diagnose, and resolve execution errors.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
• Broad overall business acumen and knowledge of the company's areas of business – management and technology consulting.
• Strong understanding and knowledge of digital marketing including media planning and buying, processes associated with trafficking materials, as well as overall online advertising strategy and tactics and how to track and report this specialty area.
• Ability to apply integrated marketing concepts, visual identity, brand strategy and message development to successful digital marketing programs.
• Global perspective and understanding of business marketplace.
• Strong project management skills.
• Strong budget management and reporting skills.
• Experience coordinating an integrated banner advertising campaign (including banner and landing page strategy/development).
• Working knowledge of Omniture preferred.
• Strong analytical and optimization knowledge and skills.
• Demonstrated experience turning data and insights into actionable plans - identifying and reconciling key findings from web analytics.
• Passion for executing programs that are of the highest quality possible, fully support the business strategy and are in line or exceed leadership expectations.
• Strong written communication skills (tailor message for various audiences; e.g., business cases for leadership, status report for staff meetings).
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well across all online marketing disciplines and interface effectively with internal corporate teams as well as with external agencies and vendors.
• Able to influence stakeholders within the company's large, matrixed organization through relationship building and strong presence.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, competitive environment, flexible to adapt to change, managing many projects with moving parts and have the ability to work well under pressure.
• Demonstrated organizational skills – ability to be highly organized and able to prioritize, juggling the right tasks at the right priority levels – in a dynamic environment with many ad hoc projects.
• Experience working in an account management role at a media/creative agency (or overseeing an agency relationship from client side) preferred.
