Global Creative Lead/creative director

Successful global start up business (with serious VC backing) are seeking a creative lead/creative director to build and lead a best-in-class, creative team for a fast growing, global, innovative, online business.

You will direct the creative output, from concept generation through to design completion, on a global level, for online and offline. As well as being responsible for the quality of creative deliverables across a range of global projects, you will help develop global content strategy and delivery goals. Your leadership will directly support global company growth and strategic and brand goals, and your day-to-day work will focus on delivering measurable results against business goals.
The digital marketing team is one of the best in Europe and a smart, agile in-house marketing design process is a major contributing factor to that success. They use no advertising agencies - all content is developed, and almost all is produced in-house!

Responsibilities
• Ensure brand consistency and messaging across all markets and consumer touch points (TV, radio, online performance marketing, printed), helping to develop guidelines for BTL projects, and personally leading ATL production projects like TV advertising.
• Oversee creative direction and quality control of design, copywriting and production of ongoing content projects for all channels (e.g. photo and video shoots, banners design template, social media marketing)
• In addition to overseeing ongoing projects, you will manage multiple priority briefs (eg. content for new market launches or launch of a new channel or advertising format)
• Identify improvements & innovations (team organisation, briefing, tools and processes, planning) to drive efficiency and effectiveness, reduce costs and/or increase speed of production
• Manage third-party suppliers and partners to ensure brand fit, creative and operational excellence standards and value-for-money
• Help recruit design talent into the global team and motivate, influence, train and develop the global creative team to constantly strive to better meet business requirements

You:
Educated to Degree level or equivalent, from a fine arts or design discipline
• Further education (eg. Masters, autodidact learning) in Marketing a significant plus
• Minimum 8 years creative/ marketing experience with a great portfolio to show (at least some digital)
• Experience of managing third-party agencies highly valuable
• Experience overseeing content for web, mobile and social platforms and video highly valuable
• A confident and impactful communicator, able to clearly explain strategic concepts and goals
• Perfect understanding of the business's strategic goals, business, marketing and product
• Passionate, committed creative team builder / leader and skillful manager, able to get others on board, inspire, guide and mentor successfully. Track record of establishment and ongoing development of design teams highly valued
• Comfort working in a start up culture with a high growth/agile environment, a fearless problem-solver with a can-do approach who embraces constant change
