Global Consumer Services Product Manager

Our client is a large financial institution in the Greater Atlanta Area and they are looking for a Product Manager with a background in Online Consumer Products for a contract to hire job.

Ideally they lean more towards the business side of product management versus the technical side. They will be working closely with a sales team to understand client needs and work with internal/external industry experts to build products.

If someone has experience with fraud that’s a bonus.

Responsibilities:
• Manage a product roadmap including outlining the vision and key phases of deliverables for product lines.
• Analyze product profitability in collaboration with finance and marketing including monitoring and assessing key performance indicators to determine how well the product is performing in the market and how it contributes to profit. Recommend product adjustments as needed.
• Frequently assess the competitive landscape and emerging technologies/trends to assist in defining new product ideas to keep the company at the forefront of the industry.
• Partner with internal research team to understand consumer trends and insights and run research studies to identify
• Develop business cases for new products including objective analysis of a potential market opportunity and financial model.
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, call center operations) to inform go-to-market strategies.
• Support product marketing needs for sales teams.
• Understand how consumers use the products and recommend improvements.
• Manage 3rd party vendors including identification, negotiations, and on-going oversight and management.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years experience in consumer software product management role/sales/marketing in a complex business environment
• Experience with fraud products or industry a plus.
• Strong analytical skills as evidenced by a proven ability to quantitatively and qualitatively analyze product concepts, strategic opportunities and competitive threats
• Track record of successfully delivering high quality projects on time in a fast-paced/rapidly changing environment.
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to effectively interact with multiple stakeholders, including product delivery, marketing, call center operations, etc.
• Knowledge of and enthusiasm for technology in an Internet environment
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
