Geospatial Technician Consultant

This position works to aid in collecting, processing, and analyzing geospatial data from public and internal sources. The Geospatial Technician provides support to GIS Team by gathering and merging, manipulating, and analyzing GIS data using ArcGIS desktop system toolbox. Contribute to geospatial data management and statistical analysis.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Create and maintain spatial features using ArcGIS Desktop suite of products.
• Reviews GIS data for accuracy and quality
• Data management and quality control for deliverables

Required Qualifications
• B.S. in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum two years of working experience with ArcGIS Desktop suite of products.
• Knowledge of principles, practices and application of GIS Systems
• Experience with the ArcGIS Modelbuilder.

Additional Preferred Qualifications
• Understanding of coordinate systems and map projections
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Python, ESRI ArcGIS Server, or ESRI ArcSDE
