Game Designer

Responsibilities • Design fun, high-quality features and content that support the game’s vision.
• Help to maintain both the gameplay mechanics and content cadence of a live game, while effectively communicating the goals of both.
• Contribute to live operations tasks, such as updates and patches in an organized and process-oriented manner.
• Effectively communicate design goals to other disciplines, collaborate on documentation, and drive features to completion.
• Use Unity and and proprietary content tools to develop and test designs while providing feedback to improve toolchains and processes.
• Participate in creative discussions and playtests, offering helpful critique and ideas.
Required Qualifications • 3+ years of game design experience shipping mobile games.
• Solid understanding of strategy game mechanics and content best practices, core and mid-core game design.
• Passionate game player with in-depth knowledge of current mid-core and mobile game titles.
• Very good interpersonal, verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Adept in learning new tools and technologies quickly.
• Has at least one of the following talents: Spreadsheet wizardry, game programming, tools programming, creative writing, concept art, storyboarding, information & UX design, graphic design.
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional Information MUST have 3+ years of Mobile Games experience. Please include list of games published with Average Daily Users over 100K. Strong background in communication and documentation. Looking for someone highly organized. Please make sure candidates have at least one of the following talents: Spreadsheet wizardry, game programming, tools programming, creative writing, concept art, storyboarding, information & UX design, graphic design to seriously be considered for this position.
