Based in Reading
Salary / Rate: circa £50,000 per annum
Contract to start ASAP – 1st July 2014 ideally
Contract will be until 30th June 2015

Key skills and experience needed:
- Editorial expertise (music catalogue knowledge)

- Good understanding of the digital entertainment business and competitive services
- Partner management
- Communication and cross-collaboration skills

Responsibilities:
• Execute weekly music programming for all game console’s Music platforms that is timely, targeted to the audience and appropriately meets business and programming objectives.
• Manage day-to-day communication with music labels across EMEA
• Identify, review and publish key weekly music content priorities in 3 EMEA markets
• Build and coordinate weekly publishing calendar with new releases and features per locale
• Create curated music playlists per locale
• Manage artist artwork sourcing and design requests (acquisition and requests for processing)
• Support global music promotions through in-app programming
• Work with ingestion team and maintain our running list of priority releases
• Work within deadlines and processes created to ensure on-time publishing
• Modify automated programming when needed

• Perform live QA'ing of content on a recurrent basis

Qualifications:
• BA degree or equivalent
• Music expertise, local music expertise a plus
• Ability to work in technical and ambiguous environment
• International and/or remote experience is preferred
• Understanding of the digital entertainment business and competitive services in the space, including pricing and offers, subscription models and mobile operator partnerships preferred
• Excellent partner management, organisational, communication and cross-collaboration skills
• French, German, Spanish , Italian speaking is a plus

Strong communication skills required. May require advanced knowledge of programming languages and/or development tools in one area, and moderate level skills in multiple areas such as C#, ASP.NET, C/C++, SQL Server 2008, Win32 API, MFC, COM. May be required to have experience across multiple tiers of development involving low level, embedded, middle and front end such as TCP/IP, WinCE, and multi-threading. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field required. Master's degree is preferred and may substitute for a portion of the related experience.
