Intro (Overview)

Our client is an exciting leading brand within the content and music services. They are looking for a Music Label Manager on a 6 month contract to work with their music label partnerships based in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity will play a key part in supporting artists, labels and fan engagement.  

Verse 1 (Responsibilities)

  • You will be responsible for providing ongoing relationship management of the brands music services’ key UK label partners, with a focus on supporting labels and artists with fan engagement or promotional opportunities.

  • You will be interacting regularly with partners at labels and also collaborate with internal teams.

  • The label manager will be promoting, supporting and activating and new features and tools to increase product activations by labels teams, as along with sharing feedback to Product teams.

  • Build a long-lasting relationship with our top partners.

  • Maintain existing partnerships to ensure that they can take full advantage of the brands ever-growing unique selling points.

  • Create and maintain strong personal relationships with label contacts and update on new music releases.  

  • Oversee, filter and prioritise music releases, communicating information to the brands internal stakeholders.

  • Partner with internal label business owners to ensure strategic and holistic approach.

Outro (Qualifications)

  • Deep network of personal relationships with UK labels and/or artists

  • You will have exceptional partner management experience along with extensive relationships in the music industry.

  • Experience in a partner-facing, A&R, or radio promotion role at a label, artist management and/or digital music. 

  • Good knowledge of music industry trends across all genres.  

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships externally and internally.

  • Strong organizational, leadership and analytical skills
