LOCATION: NYC, NY
START DATE: 6/1/15
CONTRACT: 5+ Months || Mon-Thurs || 32+ hours/week
PAY: $20-$24/hr (based on experience)

GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Global Production Associate actively participates as a member of a Global Production team that is responsible for communicating and executing Brand product strategies in partnership with the fabric strategy team. Works within a cross-functional team that includes Global Production peers, International Sourcing, Global Design, Global Technical Design, Global and Regional Merchandising, Regional Inventory Management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Review and understand seasonal AUC targets, raw material guidelines, and fabric strategies on a seasonal basis with supervisor
• Adhere to AUC targets and material costing guidance sheet that enable production teams to guide design in developing product into good, better best pricing architecture by department
• Minimize and bring resolution to financial liabilities by presenting recommendations to supervisor and cross functional partners
• Ensure product meets all brand filters, design aesthetic, quality and financial goals

PRE PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT:
• Understand, adhere to, and execute Brand pipeline calendars and checklists
• Understand design’s aesthetic requirements and product integrity to ensure sample development meets the Brand goals for quality and aesthetic while meeting AUC targets
• Monitor seasonal development meet Line Plan needs and Development metrics
• Execute fabric product strategies that leverage the category across the brand
• Execute exception booking process
• Order all sample fabric, trims, and styles for key milestone meetings by calendar deadlines
• Monitor on-time delivery of samples for milestone meetings and report style level status and specifics to cross functional teams
• Ensure costing accuracy in ACT
• Ensure adhere to all Production SOPs

PRODUCTION EXECUTION:
• Participate in pre class process
• Review style tracker requests and adherence of cross functional teams to style tracker process
• Communicate with GIS to understand production execution issues and provide support in resolving them in a timely manner
• Communicate with Global and Regional Merchandising and Regional Inventory Management to solve production execution issues including late or short shipments
• Work with supervisor, Global Design and Global Merchandising on resolving Product Integrity, Safety issues and quality of aesthetic
