GAMEPLAY ANIMATOR

We are seeking a highly creative and motivated Gameplay Animator. In this position, you will be expected to work with the Animation Lead to deliver high quality animations for the game. You will also be required to collaborate with Engineers, Gameplay Designers and Technical Animation and Rigging Directors in the development of our animation tools, pipelines and systems.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for delivering high quality internal and external animation assets, while adhering to defined processes and best practices, helping to improve process where needed.
• Collaborate with Engineers, Designers and Technical Animation and Rigging Directors to help define/refine animation tools, pipelines and technical systems and gameplay features.
• Hands on development of pre-visualization animation for new products and creating animations for games currently in production.

Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience creating high-quality, hands-on ‘in game’ Animation assets.
• Experienced in key frame and motion capture animation.
• Technical understanding of animation tools, pipelines and technical systems is a plus.
• Ability to deliver believable, dynamic and appealing character animation, with a solid understanding of weight, timing, and posing, demonstrated through a demo reel. Experience delivering dramatic and believable character performances a plus.
• Ability to be pro-active, and help develop plans and make recommendations that will continually raise the quality bar for the Animation function.
• Experience using Maya (preferred) and MotionBuilder (a big plus).
