Full Stack Developer

Summary:
This position works closely with software development personnel and/or teams to build accessible, high-performance web applications utilizing innovative web strategies and standards.

Skills & Requirements:Under limited supervision and much decision-making:
Conducts back-end development of web-based applications including, but not limited to, creating themes, templates and plugins for WordPress.
Builds fully functional web sites, web pages in WordPress using PHP, HTML, XML, DHTML, JavaScript, jQuery and CSS.
Assists in scope definitions and develops accurate level-of-effort estimations.
Integrates work into content management systems and other web applications.
Analyzes tasks, provides work estimates, and manages own time to keep development on schedule.
Develops moderately complex architecture and system design in multi-tiered and distributed environment based on business needs.
Performs development and testing of moderately complex technology solutions.
Participates with cross-functional team members in the analysis of business-process/information flow and the creation of appropriate applications models.
Participates in front-end development as needed.
Bachelor's Degree in Web Development is required.
One to three years of experience in PHP development and developing WordPress themes, templates and plugins are required.

Qualifications:
Required skills are PHP, HTML, DHTML, XML, CSS, and JavaScript and jQuery.
Knowledge and proven experience creating WordPress themes and templates.
Strong skills in hand coding interfaces with semantic HTML and CSS, well versed in HTML5 and CSS3.
Mastery of cross-browser HTML and CSS tips and tricks related to Interface Engineering.
JavaScript experience and ability to use JavaScript to create dynamic web interfaces.
AJAX experience and ability to use AJAX to create dynamic web interfaces.
Experience implementing and customizing the JQuery library in interfaces.
Experience front end coding of CMS templates/themes.
Ability to follow coding and layout standards established by the programming team or by the client.
Ability to perform cross-browser testing, including mobile handheld and tablet devices.
Experience generating HTML that renders reliably in email clients.
Ability to work in a small, dynamic team on multiple, simultaneous projects.
A strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Strong attention to detail and ability to write high quality code.
Proactive communicator who can collaborate with other team-members to ensure successful completion of shared tasks.
Self-starter who can work independently with the desire and ability to learn new skills quickly.
Experience with third party APIs such as Google Maps, Facebook, Twitter, and/or LinkedIn is desired.
Experience with CSS media queries is desired.
Experience working with content management systems is desired.
