.NET Full Stack Developer
Job Description
Our French based client is looking for a highly energetic and skilled .NET Full Stack Developer who will successfully develop and implement our community and social CMS for the Community and Social Media department.
He/she will join a fast paced team delivering the industry’s first online community. He/she will be responsible for the technical management and operations of organization’s operational online community CMS. Additionally, your role will develop integration points with our global digital properties through a series of methods such as REST API, Single Sign-on, or customized APIs. With our customers preferring to use their mobile device, you will have the challenge of developing a structure to deliver an experience from desktop down. He/she is a “hacker” at heart who is always looking to find creative and new ways to solve problems. The team is always pushing new things, prototyping and testing at a quick pace in an Agile environment."

This position reports directly to the Director of Community and Social Media.

Responsibilities
• Work on highly visible strategic projects as a member of an agile development team
• Contribute high quality work in both the client and server technology spaces of our web application platform, automation framework, or other technology areas as needed to best aid the team’s successful delivery of sprint commitments
• Code templates, widget controls, pages and full web and mobile web applications using standards based languages (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) and common frameworks such as jQuery/jQuery.
• Develop and drive technical roadmap of social CMS platform
• Develop Telligent widget controls to deliver perscriped customer experience
• Develop maintainable, reusable, scalable and cross-browser compatible code across desktop and mobile devices.
• Maintain code standards, user experience and design requirements throughout the development process.
• Maintain current knowledge of standards and web technologies.
• Work closely with backend developers to integrate and develop 3rd party APIs for content syndication

Skills and Qualifications
• Have 3 - 5 years of industry experience in building mid-to-large scale web applications
• Fluency in the primary client-side website languages including HTML5/XHTML, CSS3 and JavaScript are required
• Familiarity with Bitbucket, Git and other software version control methodologies and sites.
• Familiarity with UI frameworks such as JQuery
• Work on Telligent 6 or Telligent 7 development efforts is a nice to have
o Experience customizing search and SSO providers on Telligent platform and integrating with legacy systems
o Experience with Telligent themes
o Experience creating custom widgets as well as customizing built-in widgets
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Transact SQL required
• Have demonstrated proficiency with a range of Microsoft platform based systems products, including: Windows Server 2008, 2008 R2, 2012, 2012 R2, Visual Studio 2013, 2012, 2010, SQL Server (MSSQL) 2008, 2012, Internet Information Services (IIS) 7.0, 7.5, 8.0
• Good written and verbal communications
• Be organized and able to effectively deal with multiple concurrent accountabilities.
• Be familiar with Agile.
• Be able to use other business tools such as Microsoft Office
• A love of technology and always be proactively working to stay abreast of the latest in hardware and software developments
• Be self-directed and able to work with minimal guidance.
