Front End Developer

We're working with a large national brand to find a Front End Developer to join their team for a special project.

This individual will be responsible for the creation of assets, templates and tools used to develop and deliver training materials and courseware. These materials may be produced for many different industries and will be delivered through Web, Interactive Distance Learning (IDL), Virtual Classroom Training (VCT), and Instructor Led Training (ILT.)

Start Date: As soon as the right
Duration: Through March 31
Hours: 40 per week
Location: Onsite at our client's office in Troy, MI

The ideal candidate has a background in web development and content production, is comfortable working within a standardized programming structure, thinks creatively, excels in a collaborative team environment, and is detail oriented.

Responsibilities:
-Creation/conceptualization of templates, tools, interfaces, and advanced interactive elements (games, simulations, etc.)
-Creating and/or modifying interactive media content utilizing a variety of web and graphics development tools such as HTML5, XML, CSS, and Flash.
-Incorporate external media (audio, video, 2d/3d artwork, etc.) into training deliverables.
-Developing conceptual and technical graphics of varying degrees of complexity.
-Participating in content design and planning throughout the development process.
-Style and theme development (GUI, branding, etc.)

Requirements:
-Advanced in HTML5, Javascript, XML, and CSS.
-Ability to collaborate with designers and other cross-functional team members.
-Adept with development for mobile deployment (tablets, smart phones, etc.)
-Advanced Adobe Flash CS5 or higher with demonstrated ability to produce interactive animations using ActionScript 3.0.
-Experience coordinating teams, schedule tracking, and general project leadership abilities.
-Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects in a deadline-oriented environment.
-Must be organized and work well both independently and in a fast paced team environment.
-Intermediate software skills in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
-Knowledge of SCORM and Learning Management Systems are pluses.
-Knowledge of game design and development engines, such as Unity, is a plus.
-A strong sense of design is a major plus!
