We are looking for a digital front-end developer (Wordpress and HTML essential, all else welcome). Some design capability is also important. Not big-canvas creative artistry, but the ability to lay out pages to a house style.
The growth of our digital work is a priority for us in 2018 and beyond. This role is open to middleweight Wordpress/HTML developers looking for a job with a young but established team where they will be taking the lead on projects from day one. You'll be reporting to our Digital Team Lead within our 6-strong Digital and Design team.
It is important that you are familiar with and enjoy the process of web design, as small businesses like ours benefit from team members who can do different things according to demand.
But this role is primarily about front-end development; we outsource our development at the moment and hope you might be the one to bring some of that in-house and build from there. Our projects are typically more compact, but we’re hoping to change that with the help of this hire.
This is a middleweight role so we do expect about 5 years (minimum of three) working in a corporate capacity – i.e. developing sites for a business goal. We will commit to providing you with a workplace where your ideas will be as welcome at the table as those of people who've been doing this for twenty years.
This is a full-time role based in our offices in London (Farringdon). Hours are 7/day, starting between 8-10am at your preference and ending accordingly.
