An iconic and respected American Fortune 500 company who proudly provides insurance, investment management, and other financial products throughout the US and 30 countries is in need of a contract/freelance Front End Developer (mid-level) to join their Solution Design, Customer Experience, Strategy, Marketing & Communications Group within Group Insurance.

The ideal candidate will help building out digital requirements for their Online Enrollment Tool. This department has creative team players, who rally to provide the best online customer experience.

This position is onsite in Roseland, NJ, 40 hours a week, for 6 months with the opportunity to extend.

Role Description:
• The candidate will have mid-level experience working with HTML, CSS & Java Script
• Experience with responsive web design and popular frameworks like Bootstrap, experience with of QA, cross browser testing and debugging; familiarity with site development within a CMS a +
• You will also have experience with site performance tracking and enhancements, engage in the full lifecycle of a project beyond development including unit tests, documentation, deployment and maintenance.
• The candidate will also evaluate best practices for development and actively participate in testing automation, code design and front-end architecture

Requirements:
• 2-3+ years relevant professional experience in front-end software development, advanced working knowledge of XML data formats
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical problems logically and systematically
• Advanced time management and estimation skills with the ability to work multiple projects in various stages of SDLC
• Effectively work independently and as a team member
• Must be analytical, creative, detail-oriented and self-motivated
• Financial enrollment experience is a plus
