Quebecois French Editor:

What you’ll be doing:


• Working on a variety of marketing materials and customer communications in digital and print channels (like web pages, banners, social posts, emails, videos, magazine ads and letters)

• Partnering with teammates to understand the intent, key message and goals of each creative

• Participating in creative brainstorming sessions

• Working closely with key stakeholders, including legal and external partners, to gather feedback

• Reviewing creatives to provide feedback of your own and raise potential issues

• Collaborating with Creative team members to incorporate stakeholder feedback

• Approving final creatives prior to launch

• Keeping all our communications on brand and aligned with our editorial style


What you need to have:


• Right-brain smarts: Excellent editing, proofreading and writing skills, with a strong command of Canadian French

• Left-brain smarts: Ability to identify potential issues and propose solutions

• An eagle eye for detail and excellent organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities/tight deadlines and proactively communicate with stakeholders

• Professional demeanour and proven track record of performance

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro

• Ability to work well both with others and independently


What we’ll be looking for:


• A degree/diploma in journalism, communications, French or a related field

• 2 to 5 years of editing experience

• Familiarity with CP style

• Successful completion of our editing assessment
