Our client in the Financial Services Industry has an URGENT need for an experienced (4-6 years) UI/UX Designer who is an Axure and Rapid Prototyping expert. This is a 3-month contract in downtown Los Angeles to support an ongoing redesign project.

Job Duties
-Under general supervision, collaborate with business and technical teams to advocate for and develop user-centered and interaction concepts.
-Gather and understand business requirements and user needs specific to new or existing features, functionality, content and organizational structure.
-Understand user needs through research such as heuristics, usability testing, focus groups, web analytics and competitor evaluations.
-Design, develop and conduct usability testing scenarios to understand and validate user needs throughout the lifecycle of projects.
-Partner with technical teams to understand technical capabilities of business requirements.
-Develop technology strategies and internal roadmaps for platform and application integration.
-Identify and recommend features, functionality, and specific interactions based on analysis of business goals and user needs.
-Translate business needs and user needs while incorporating best practices and understanding system technical and execution capabilities.
-Creates user requirement specifications, such as personas, scenarios, task analysis, flowcharts and organization and navigation models.
-May develop components (iconography, front-end components, etc.).
-Gather and incorporate feedback from stakeholders, end users, and technical and design teams to validate user experience proposals.
-Creates alternatives and makes recommendations for final design.
-Work with others (e.g., designers and writers) to create final user experience artifacts for development.
-After launch, monitor internal data and feedback to recommend and prioritize improvements for future phases.
-Provide input to technical teams during development phase to make updates.
-Conduct user testing during construction to validate design and make adjustments as necessary.
-Provide input and expertise towards the development of a variety of user experience design principles, best practices and processes.
-Gather information and makes recommendations for the creation and evolution of user experience style guide.
-Actively engage in user experience community (experts), keep abreast of emerging technologies and attends conferences to evaluate and apply industry best practices.
-Collaborate within team and other departments to leverage and share ideas and recommendations to apply broadly across multiple channels.
-Assess user experience (shadowing, general feedback-oriented focus groups, research, etc.) and recommend improvements.
