Our client are a leading tech brand based in Reading that work across a huge range of sectors and projects, from cutting edge computer tech and robotics to auto-drive car systems! They are currently seeking a Junior level Project Manager / Localisation Manger to join them early January 2018 for a minimum of 6 months with the potential to become permanent should they desire.
On a day-to-day basis, this candidate will be a member of the Creative Marketing team, taking complete ownership of all of their localisation. The break down of the role being 90% localisation management and 10% other projects. Having previous experience specifically in localisation is a huge bonus but by no means essential, as this candidate will be working directly alongside their Creative Project Manager who will be there to mentor and train on an on-going basis.
Candidates must have some commercial experience in Project Management or similar roles, be within a commutable distance to Reading, be open to long term contracts and above all be a team player with excellent communication and organisational skills. For this position, you will be dealing with 18 European regions and languages, so must have a structured and efficient approach, being able to work seamlessly with contacts in different cultures.
Skills & Experience:
- At least a Junior level experience in Project Management or similar positions.
- Excellent communication skills, being able to interact with people at all levels.
- Proactive personality.
- Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office software.
- Knowledge using any other PM tools / software (Workfront /Jira / Hansoft / MS Project).
- Experience working in an agency.
- Any other languages, particularly European would be a plus.
- To have a passion for technology and follow the latest trends.
In addition to skills and experience, they have a very social culture and encourage a work-hard/ play-hard attitude. So although the work load can be pretty intense at times, they love to integrate every creative that joins them.
In regards to location, if you live in central London with easy access to Paddington station, there is a 25 minute fast train to Reading from there and then a 15 minute bus journey on the other end (which pulls up just outside their office campus).
They do have plenty of parking though so if driving is an option that would be best and as the position is long term they are only looking at candidates within a good commutable distance.
If you tick these boxes, please send your CV through to Holly at Aquent.
Please note, due to a high volume of applications, we may only be able to respond if your CV has been shortlisted.
