Freelance Instructional Designer Corporate Trainer

One of our Fortune 500 Insurance Clients is in need of a freelance Instructional Designer to
design and development of new hire sales training curriculum program in support of the job skill development, product knowledge, and system and business process training.

Responsibilities:
• Design, develop and test learning content to meet identified learning and
performance objectives; follow corporation’s design and development standards and processes
• Conduct needs analyses to identify performance improvement opportunities that align
with line of business strategic goals
• Identify and integrate the most effective tools into the learning design and development
processes to maximize learning effectiveness and performance improvement.
• Ensure the learning design and development projects are implemented with clear objectives that support business goals.

Requirements:
• Comprehensive knowledge of adult learning theory and skill in the design and development of learning content in a large corporate environment.
• 8+ years in instructional design or a related field creating blended learning solutions.
• Demonstrable experience in creating learning content using standard ADDIE and Instruction Systems Design (ISD) models from conceptual stages through tactical implementation.
• Experience in the application of multiple learning methods including interactive technology, computer-based/multimedia-based instruction, internet/intranet-based instruction and others to build knowledge and skills. Ideal candidate proficient in authoring applications/tools such as Captivate, Articulate and Brainshark
• Prior Sales or Contact Center experience a plus
• Able to thrive in a fast paced environment maintaining professional composure under pressures like tight timelines, constant change and task ambiguity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; effective in a variety of formal and informal presentations: one on one, small and large groups.
• Bachelor's degree or related experience. Master's degree is preferred.
