Freelance Creative Services Manager

Reporting to the Senior Production Manager, the Creative Services and Traffic Manager will work closely with stakeholders and the Creative Services team in the creation and delivery of all multi-channel marketing assets and content through to the final publishing channel, including core brand and marketing campaigns, and other work as required by the business. This role is crucial to the smooth running of Creative work through the Creative Services team. The role is responsible for Creative resource allocation and keeping communication high with all internal teams to help ensure the quality of the Creative assets delivered are the best they can be, and delivered on time. The role requires a strong team player that can coordinate resources. Strong attention to detail, communication and trafficking skills, along with the ability to work to tight deadlines are vital skills for this job as well as possessing the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with various stakeholders.

Duties of the role:

• Serve as the main point of contact with marketing, Brand and stakeholders on all multi-channel Creative projects; manage / traffic core assets from idea to implementation 

• Future planning / scheduling / prioritising of Creative resource to ensure completion of projects on schedule and according to submitted brief. While ensuring correct creative teams are matched to projects and helping to resolve any additional resource requirements 

• Set and continually manage project expectations with stakeholders while also proactively managing changes in project scope / direction, identifying potential issues, and devising contingency plans. 

• Arrange the sourcing and management of additional external staff 

• Working closely with the shoot team in the delivery of imagery for briefed assets 

• Continually maintains / reviews / improves business processes and procedures that improve the efficiency in delivering assets to all channels 

• Process changes are communicated across teams, highlighting any issues such as individual responsibilities/when the process is not being used correctly 

• Ensure stakeholders meet all brief submission deadlines for all assets within a campaign 

• Review all assets on Workfront with Creative Leads 

• Communicating closely with stakeholders to make sure all project elements are agreed and aligned with each area of the business and on Brand 

• Analyse Workload per campaign and impact on all departments within Creative Services 

• Identify projects at risk, come up with reactive solutions in collaboration with the Creative Services team, final publishing channel and stakeholder 

• Ensuring delivery of all assets through all channels across each drop, and when necessary help negotiate extensions with final publishing channel for key campaign assets 

• Ensure full engagement by all teams with the Workfront Project management system 

• Suggesting improvements to the Workfront system / templates / reporting, communicating these to the Publishing Systems Manager and Senior Production Manager 

• Field and allocate any emergency briefs or late briefs after deadline / assess whether Creative services can accommodate 

• Monitor / track /report on Workload through Creative Services team 

• Oversee / lead execution with CSE key monthly promotional campaigns Dim discount/ COTD 

• Build great relationships with people across a number of teams 

• Manage 2 x Creative Services Executives

Equivalent work experience:

• At least 4 years experience in a Project / traffic manager role - managing creative/marketing projects and workflow, ideally with an agency or in-house creative team. 

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, complete high-priority, quick-turn requests and run multiple projects simultaneously. 

• Possess a black book of freelance resource and industry contacts 

• Comfortable dealing with multiple stakeholders to gather creative project briefs and other requirements, providing project feedback and possessing the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with various stakeholders 

• Strong level of business / brand knowledge in marketing (such as demand generation, online marketing, marketing communications, social, mobile, advertising, DM)

• Ability to make decisions in a timely manner, strong mediation skills to facilitate a constructive approach to dealing with conflict, and exceptional organisation and communication skills 

• Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment 

• Computer skills in Mac, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. 

• Experience using a Project Management System 

• Fashion knowledge an advantage 

• Excellent attention to detail and experience in scheduling and managing multiple projects.
