Freelance Banner Dev & Digital Designer

Seeking a Freelance  Banner Dev & Digital Designer. This role will be the visual heart of the team, translating big picture ideas into inspirational digital content. This role will have access to the resources of a traditional big agency, but work with the deadlines of a small digital shop. 


• Responsible for bringing life to the brand message in digital, in particular social, platforms 

• Collaborate with entire social and content team to develop ideas that can quickly turn to reality 

• Partner with creative teams to turn brand visions and concepts into digital and social tactics 

• Stay informed on latest trends and strive for ways to make the work more exciting – be curious about every new YikYak or Snapchat 

• Manage up to account, creative, strategy leadership 

• Concept and design digital and social assets Criteria/Qualifications 

• Must love all things social media, from YouTube to Instagram 

• Excellent design, layout and typography skills 

• Proficiency in Adobe CS, specifically Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop. 

• Excellent at distilling complex ideas into sharable pieces of content – gifs, infographics, video clips, etc 

• At least 2 years experience as a motion/graphic designer 

• At least 4 years of professional experience creating digital campaigns/project digital products, social media assets, rich media banner ads, websites, mobile apps, etc. 

• Demonstrated attention to detail and passion for creating pixel perfect designs 

• Interested in experimenting with new technologies; Curious to a fault 

• Desire to learn, grow, and contribute in a creative, collaborative environment 

• Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously depending on size 

• Able to self-manage and prioritize work- Collaborative, self-motivated, professional 

• Able to deliver work at high volume in a tight time-frame 

• Superior skills with Adobe Creative Suite including use of actions and scripts, as well as non-destructive design practices 

• Credible knowledge of best practices for optimization of assets 

• BA or BFA in Graphic Design or other related design discipline 

• Agency experience required
