Freelance Account Manager Job- Activations

This well-established BTL, shopper and activations agency has an exciting new freelance role for a highly organised, passionate and pro-active Account Manager. This will be a 6 month contract and there is potential it could convert to a perm role.

This Account Manager job would suit a switched on AM who has come from an experiential or brand activation background especially with experience working on either FMCG or consumer electronics brands.

The JOB itself will see you as the day-to-day point of contact for the delivery of client’s campaigns. You as the Account Manager are responsible for delivering superior customer service and managing the successful execution of brand activation, experiential and shopper marketing campaigns. Your creative insights and opinions will be valued and you’ll collaborate closely with the creative teams.

Core Functions & Responsibilities
Project Management
- Manage creative timelines
- Manage creative processes and procedures
- Ensure legal compliance for all campaigns
- Maintain strong working relationships with preferred suppliers
- Oversee and/or develop a post evaluation for every program to determine improved ways moving forward

Project Development
You will lead the creative development and delivery of campaign concepts as well as leading the preparation and delivery of client presentations and proposals – all with the support of your Account Director.

Relationship Management
- Manage and foster strong relationships with all client and business partners
- Pre-empt client requirements and requests
- Maintain regular, ongoing dialogue with clients
- Client WIPs: Oversee and/or prepare WIP documents for client WIP meetings. Facilitate WIP meetings with clients and document meetings via contact report within 24 hours.

Finance / Profitability
- Responsible for ensuring all financial processes are adhered to in the preparation and delivery of campaigns
- Prepare budgets / cost estimates for presentation to clients (and keep updated as required)
- Project Reconciliation: Accountable for ensuring campaign costs are up-to-date at all times, and reviewing time budgeted vs. time spent is on target

General
- General tasks: Assist the team with any general tasks and requirements to ensure the team is running efficiently at all times

This role will see you working across high profile liquor and consumer electronic activation campaigns. You’ll be working with an innovative creative team and have the ability to deliver best-in-class activations for your clients.
