Qualifications
Education and Experience
This position requires at a minimum:
• 5-years of experience in forms design.
• An associate degree, but preferably a bachelor's or advanced degree in Forms/Document Design or equivalent experience.

Additional Qualifications
• Meet with customers, technical communicators, and team leader to identify issues with particular projects.
• Have knowledge of the publishing process and help technical communicators to develop schedules for forms projects.
• Work with customers and technical communicators to develop form requirements.
• Have knowledge about making forms compliant with Section 508 of the Workforce Investment Act.
• Design forms to be consistent with concepts and use of “Plain Language” design requirements.
• Use advanced form design software to design forms.
• Assess the quality and accuracy of completed forms.
• Respond to requests to provide artwork for new, revised, and reprinted forms. Ensure that the correct editions of the requested forms are uploaded to BlueShare.
• Manage and track project tasks for each form.
• Help develop standards and processes for paper forms design and production.
• Find process solutions for problematic projects.
• Store electronic files using prescribed naming conventions in the official content management system.
• Maintain archives of previous editions, obsolete documents, graphics, electronic signatures, online versions, and files for ongoing projects.
• Use an electronic workflow process to move work from one stage of the project to another.
