Flash/eLearning Developer

Our client, the world’s largest dedicated security technology company, is looking for a Flash Developer to develop technical course content and learning activities for sales engineers, Channel Partners, and Technical Support.

About YOU:
- You MUST be able to demonstrate success in rapid development of innovative, interactive computer-based training materials.
- Specifically, your experience should include creating learning activities, simulations, and quizzes.
- Most importantly, you must be committed to delivering a high-quality experience to learners while working within the constraints of a particular project.

Responsibilities:
• Develop course materials in accordance with approved course design specifications and using established processes and templates
• Work closely with the lead ID to obtain content and storyboards to meet the needs of the target audience
• Use authoring tools as needed to create self-paced learning activities
• Publish and test learning activities on the Learning Management System (LMS) in accordance with established QA procedures
• Periodically communicate progress on project milestones to lead ID

Requirements:
• At least 2 years of Adobe Captivate (5.5 or higher) development experience
• Experience with developing technology-based training for a technical audience in accordance with sound design principles
• High-energy person, with excellent teamwork skills
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Self-directed worker who takes responsibility for on-time task completion

Experience:
• At least 2 years of course development experience
• Familiarity with audio editing and production
• At least 2 years’ experience deploying eLearning courses to a LMS; SumTotal preferred
• Creating product simulations and/or demonstrations preferred
• Microsoft Office Suite including Word and PowerPoint

ADDITIONAL INFO
• This is a 1 month, full-time, W-2 contract position located onsite in Plano, TX
• This position is not eligible for telecommute or offsite work
