Finishing Coordinator- Print Services
The Print Coordinator will be in charge of performing mechanical and hand assembly finishing processes in order to complete Print Services orders.
Sets up and operates finishing equipment including: booklet-maker, die cutter, shrink-wrapper, hydraulic paper punches, GBC punches, pouch laminators, Graphic Wizard (perfing, scoring, numbering), padder and folder. Performs hand operations, including assemblies and professional packing of materials for shipment. Enters shipping information into online shipping system.
Performs quality control checks on all orders, ensuring all specifications are accurate. Verifies print quality of UPC codes for all coupons using barcode scanning software. Communicates daily with Print Services personnel in order to ensure on-time, high-quality print jobs. Finishing Coordinators are responsible for maintaining inventory of finishing items. Finishing Coordinators are responsible for accurately recording time and materials for each job.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must have a minimum of three years’ experience working in finishing at a print services provider. Must have a minimum of two years’ experience working in a customer service-related position.
Must have excellent customer service skills (good verbal communication skills, good phone etiquette, able to set priorities and be detail-oriented). Must have good organizational skills. Good working knowledge of mechanical finishing equipment is needed. Good working knowledge of hand assembly process is needed.
