Overview of Roles/Responsibilities:

This role supports the overall marketing activities of the Financial Services UK/I industry marketing team. The successful candidate will be required to support the awareness, lead generation, client centric and relationship building activities as laid out in the marketing plan. The main objectives of the marketing plan are to help Accenture Senior Executives to grow relationships with the UK Financial Services industry movers and shakers, strengthen existing client relationships and develop new ones; to build awareness of Accenture’s range of services and lead generation for sale opportunities. The marketing programme to achieve these objectives is based includes account-based marketing tactics, content- and hospitality-driven events, client mailings and content development. The Financial Services global database will be used to drive and manage this programme.

Day to day role and responsibilities to include:
⎯ Support the industry marketing managers to develop high-end business relevant marketing initiatives
⎯ Work with industry marketing managers, research and client account team to ensure content is aligned to client's needs
⎯ Support industry marketing managers on client centric and opportunity centric campaigns - account based marketing
⎯ Capture metrics and target individual clients based on their interests
⎯ Assist in the development of an events programme, taking responsibility for organizing dates, venues, invitation process and attendance together with onsite support
⎯ Support the implementation of new communication channels to market including online, web and email
⎯ Database maintenance - list cleaning and building
⎯ Administrative responsibilities including maintaining accurate and segmented client data, tracking marketing initiatives, managing literature, procurement processes, observation of company policies, budgets and metrics

Skills/Professional Qualities Required:

⎯ Experience - Bachelor’s degree, university degree or equivalent required – preferably in a Business or Marketing related subject. B2B marketing experience will be an advantage. Insight into the Financial Services Sector will be an advantage.

⎯ Mandatory Skills – IT literate, primarily Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel and Database management. Experience of event management and broad marketing skills to support marketing managers and team.

⎯ Interpersonal Skills - Confident with ability to communicate at all levels, building a good rapport whilst developing strong credibility with all stakeholders
