Aquent’s Fortune 500 client is seeking a Field Marketing Manager for an onsite 10-month contract in Redwood Shores, California. This role will support the Sales Automation applications solutions portfolio: Sales Cloud, Configure Price & Quote, Commerce, Commerce Cloud and Social Cloud for both enterprise and midsize accounts. Target Personas: VP’s and Directors of: Sales, Sales Compensation, Sales Operations, Sales Commissions, eCommerce, B2B Commerce, Social, Digital & Marketing.

The Field Marketing Manager will be responsible for strategy, execution, budget management and managing of lead from events through sales stages for: Seminars, 3rd party sponsorships and executive events. This includes working with keynote speakers on developing their presentations.

Must have excellent writing skills: creating invites for events. The candidate must be proficient in power point and excel. Position will also require communication with the NA sales organization: event announcements, event updates, participation on sales team calls to provide marketing event updates.

Field Marketing Responsibilities:
• Create/manage regional marketing programs, primarily in-person events and sponsorships of 3rd party conferences: venue selection, audience acquisition, event speaker selection, engaging partners, working with third-party vendors, providing sales communications, managing onsite event registration, interfacing with sales, partners, and customers at events, etc.
• Working with sales on lead follow up: understanding where leads are in the funnel, working with the sales team to improve lead conversion rates (through training) and reporting on leads and pipeline impact of activities.
• Owning a budget, driving the event mix, allocating funds across events, and conducting metric and ROI analyses on program effectiveness; measuring the business impact of events in terms of revenue and attendance through analysis of sales and marketing reports and presenting results to Marketing and Sales management.
• Communicate and educate regional sales teams regarding new and planned marketing activities to ensure they understand how to leverage them; interfacing with various internal groups such as Corporate Marketing, E-Marketing, Product Marketing, Product Management, Development, and Sales Operations with respect to program creation and execution.
• Working with third-party channels, including online social communities, sales partners, user groups, etc., to serve as a delivery (presentation) interface for standardized marketing event kits for high volume program initiatives; incorporating the use of these groups into the regional strategic marketing plan.
• Working with the Field Marketing Program Management group on back office and onsite event administration and logistics, using multiple internal systems to implement programs.

Work Location: Role will be based in Redwood Shores, CA and requires close coordination with virtual team.
