Field Marketing Manager

Our innovative F500 client is looking for a dynamic Field Marketing Manager to join their growing Corporate Marketing team. You will manage in-territory marketing programs for their field sales team, and support all event marketing programs. This position is responsible for building pipeline and penetration for the field marketing associates by planning, developing and executing Field Marketing activities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in driving sales through B2C/B2B initiatives, across demand generation programs, campaign management and event management – generating quality pipeline, moving prospects through the sales cycle, and building customer relationships.



Location: San Francisco (w/ some travel in the SF Bay Area)
Length: 6 months - 1 year + Contract to Hire position
Start: June 15
Salary: $55,000 - $65,0000 DOE

Responsibilities

- Proactively drive field marketing programs from planning, execution, to tracking results
- Understand field needs, ensure alignment with segment marketing objectives, define programs and success measurement, and deliver programs in-region
- Plan regional integrated marketing programs to take customers on a journey
- Define marketing plans to create/accelerate opportunities and build executive relationships that impact partnership growth
- Create, build, and execute flawless field and store events
- Meet or exceed pipeline contribution and ROI goals
- Accurately track event performance and make educated recommendations on future expenditure
- Manage event planning and logistics
- Vendor and budget management
- Research industry events to identify new field opportunities
- Complete other duties as assigned to meet company goals


Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business marketing discipline
- 3-5+ years of experience in business development or sales, and event planning
- Experience with sales and marketing automation systems
- Self-motivated, innovative, collaborative, multi-tasker, creative, and analytical
- Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment is extremely important
- Excellent organization, writing skills and time management
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, data analysis, reporting
- Highly recommended: previous experience training and managing teams
- F500, financial services or agency experience is a plus.
