Field Marketing Manager

Our client is looking for a Field Marketing Manager to partner with sales teams across the U.S. to identify marketing strategies and spearhead the development of robust local and regional marketing initiatives to support each market’s goals. This role will collaborate closely with all regions to drive strategic plans and ensure that event activities deliver measurable outcomes and maximize ROI. The role is responsible for developing and overseeing process design, infrastructure development, vendor management to create a successful ecosystem for strategic brand governance with effective local execution. Taking a consultative approach, this role helps to guide and develop a team of field-based Marketing Coordinators who are responsible for specific regional marketing training initiatives and assisting in the strategic, design, approval, and implementation of new marketing programs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Collaborates with management of Sales, Marketing, and Service to design, recommend and implement regional marketing strategies to meet brand and lead generation objectives.
• Effectively collaborate with Field leaders to plan strategically to enable effective execution locally, while providing consultative advice.
• Innovate on marketing infrastructure, process design, and vendor management. Lead new infrastructure deployments and successfully manage cross-functional teams (sales, IT, ops, and marketing support).
• Working effectively with Regional Vice Presidents, District Managers, Branch Managers, and Top Producers in Retail Production, influence and formulate new marketing initiatives that drive visible results.
• Assess and select an ecosystem of vendors to put into practice new processes for stewarding brand integrity and compliance governance while allowing for localization.
• Partner effectively with Compliance, IT, and field teams to deploy new systems, workflow, and technologies.
• Partner with PR, digital marketing and social media team to drive and maximize communications opportunities.
• Successfully build relationships across all levels of the ecosystem – internal senior leaders, external agencies and vendors, and influential referral partners
• Coach and provide direction to staff in resolving escalated issues.
• Monitor effectiveness of regional marketing initiatives, and identify areas for process improvements and re-engineering of work to increase efficiencies and productivity. Design regional training program related to new marketing initiatives, new processes, new assets, and new functionality (e.g., features and benefits of the CRM and marketing communication platforms).
• Develop ways to measure the success of various marketing initiatives and develop accountability structure for stakeholders.
• Create winning campaigns for regional, branch, and Loan Officer marketing, including, but not limited to, presentations, drip campaigns, sponsorships, and paid advertising encompassing digital, print, and radio.
• Manage special projects as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Requires the ability to travel frequently at a national level and spend quality face-to-face time with key business partners and staff, especially sales leadership. (20-30% travel)
• 10+ years in marketing leadership roles with progressively more responsibility
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required; advanced degree a plus
• Mortgage industry experience required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong project management leadership, providing vision and direction for cross-functional teams
• Track record of successful campaigns
• Track record of designing and deploying process and infrastructure initiatives
