Our cloud and virtualization software and services client based in Palo Alto, CA is looking for a
Field Marketing Manager in their Dallas/Ft Worth office.

The Field Marketing Manager (FMM), Southwest role is responsible for executing executive level marketing plans across the top high opportunity select and enterprise customers across TX, OK, AR, LA, NM, CO, AZ, UT and NV. This position will drive high touch marketing programs that generate quality pipeline, move prospects through the sales cycle and build customer intimacy. The FMM role will support our Client’s largest accounts in a fast paced environment and requires the ability to adapt and excel amid a changing landscape, strong data analytics skills as well as experience in executing account based marketing initiatives and C-level executive programs.

Responsibilities:

Proactively drive the execution of executive level marketing programs through to tracking and reporting out results. Ensure alignment with segment marketing objectives, understand field sales needs, define programs and success measurement and deliver programs in-region.

• Executing regionally integrated executive marketing programs to take customers on a journey
• Work with field sales teams to define areas of needed pipeline growth prior to each quarterly planning cycle
• Work with key internal stakeholders quarterly to ensure supporting programs are available to create/accelerate pipeline and build executive relationships that impact deal growth through targeted activities
• Drive account based marketing and executive engagements for top Southwest territory accounts aligned with sales team’s goals
• Track program results, measuring program success and reporting metrics via Salesforce.com (SFDC) and Marketing Business Intelligence (BI) tool
• Share results with marketing organization and sales regularly and use KPIs to implement improvements to future planning cycles
• Communicate and execute industry events to local teams across global, select and enterprise
• Collaborate with solution, vertical, channel, alliance, demand generation and executive marketing teams to implement joint marketing campaigns in region
• Manage quarterly programs within budget

Requirements:

• 5-8 years of marketing experience, with field marketing background
• Proven track record of successfully partnering with sales management. Previous sales experience is a plus
• Experience with developing, executing and tracking results tied to integrated, multi-touch marketing plans
• Experience in account based marketing and executive programs for large enterprise customers
• Strong background in metrics tracking. Experience with sales and marketing automation systems – SFDC and BI software experience a plus
• Enterprise software background with strong solution selling knowledge
• Proactive, self-motivated, innovative, collaborative, multi-tasker, creative and analytical
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment is extremely important
• Strong team player with a positive attitude
• Location – Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex
