This Fortune 100 Software Company is seeking a Field Marketing & Events Coordinator to assist with planning, developing and managing events for their website. This position will be a part of the Marketing team and work across all teams consisting of sales, partners and alliances, programs, finance etc.

This position will run July through December and is based in San Francisco.

Responsibilities:

Primary responsibility will be:
Supporting planning and execution of this division's presence at our huge Tech Conference located in San Francisco. Tasks vary, but will consist of coordinating staffing, planning VIP reception for nonprofit and higher ed attendees, reporting;.
Supporting research and planning for corporate and industry/regional events -- including World Tour events, executive dinners, participation in industry conferences and partner programs, workshops;
Supporting pipeline and other goals of the department; and
Assisting with maintenance of event landing pages, event information and links on the website.

Required Skills:
3 – 5 years successful event management experience
Ability to remain calm and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
Highly organized, detail oriented w/ exceptional project and time management skills
Willingness to take on additional tasks and roles with a “can-do” attitude
Self-starter who can prioritize workload in a strict deadline oriented environment
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with executive leadership and teams
Sense of humor
