Our client, a leader in the advertising and experience design space, is looking for an Experiential Design Strategist.

Job Description
The Experience Strategist role is a hybrid creative/brand strategist position designing 360-degree experiences for our clients. The position is responsible for generating big ideas communicated through comprehensive strategic experience plans for a variety of events (primarily B2B tradeshows). S/he will ensure each tactical recommendation becomes a meaningful touch point along the customer journey and will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary agency team on each assignment.

Responsibilities for this position in the following areas include:

• Research: Understand client objectives, target audiences, messaging, value proposition and content for event business unit. Keep up to date/monitors trends in the industry.
• Branding and campaign implementation: Work closely with studio team Creative Directors, and 2D, 3D designers to provide insight and strategic direction. Work closely with program strategists to ensure alignment to program objectives.
• Brief creation: Gather research, prepares and conducts event discovery calls, and then develops Experience Briefs. Brief design teams – concentrating on experience design (incl. 2D/3D) and interactive media where appropriate management of marketing tools system.
• Content and messaging: Develop expertise in subject matter and provide recommendations to client on content, messaging and information flow. Develop message plans and content maps to drive content and messaging for all touch points throughout the experience.
• Writing: Author/edit both short and long form marketing copy. Helpful to have a multi-disciplinary perspective from print, multimedia, digital, social, etc.
• Evaluation: Evaluate event performance and analyze evaluation forms/feedback. Develop and present timely analysis, research and recommendations to improve future events.
• Guidelines: Participate in creating event guidelines and planning kits.

• Has experience writing and or developing message plans
• Is familiar or knowledgeable in the Tech industry
• Must be a team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an agency or studio setting (or direct tradeshow/event experience with a major company/brand)
