Experience Strategist

Vitamin T seeks an Experience Strategist for a five month project to serve an automotive client and concierge business. The ideal candidate has a technical and digital background. There would be some travel required to New York and Cincinnati offices to collaborate on projects and attend team meetings.

The role requires a unique blend of skills, a hands-on practitioner that can deliver and lead UX strategy, crafting successful, insight-driven product development strategies for our stakeholders. You will be organized, an excellent team player and communicator who has a passion for developing customer focused digital entertainment, defining interactivity and user experience for a variety of products, balancing user needs with business goals and technical capabilities.

Utilizing a variety of research and analytic tools to uncover the needs, expectations and behaviors of customers you will combine those insights with a systematic understanding of how business goals, market environment and organizational capabilities could be orchestrated to create and deliver memorable and meaningful products, services and brand experiences.

Providing consultation to both in-house and 3rd party studios, the Experience Strategist will drive a consistent, best in class user experience across all digital platforms, championing the idea of making the user the centre of our design efforts for the entire product team. Therefore it is essential that they have a strong, in-depth knowledge UX principles and processes, industry standards and trends.

Driven by finding out how and why people use products and a passionate in communicating these needs, the Experience Strategist will propose and lead solutions to interaction design challenges that engage, excite audiences.

They should be pioneering new ways of thinking for our stakeholders and for the industry at large. They are expected to push forward the strategic reputation of the department in both the eyes of our stakeholders, the industry and with the executive stakeholders of the company.

What we need:

Proven experience in a digital interaction design subject.
A background of leading UX projects end-to-end and the ability to guide appropriate UX methodologies and processes.
Strong command of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies and working knowledge of when and how to apply them to a given challenge.
First-class verbal and written communication skills. Confident with an authoritative fluency in UX design and experience of effectively and comprehensively articulate complex concepts to a diverse audience.
Inquisitive, analytic nature with a passion to ask questions and seek answers that will inform the design of the final product, filtering information and selecting what is significant.
High-level proficiency of developing prototyping models to demonstrate and evaluate proposed UX/UI/IA design solution and provide expertly crafted documentation and written specifications describing behaviour and design.
Thoroughly organized with attention to detail and good reporting skills at every stage of the design process.
