Our client are an independent and award winning Experience/Service Design agency based in the heart of London’s creative epicentre. Working with top global brands, our client focus on providing innovative and functional experience design solutions delivering value to their clients and their customers.
Our client are looking for a seasoned Experience Director with a very strong UX/UI portfolio to come on board and join their multi disciplinary team and head up the creative, creating concepts and strategies for digital service executions. Because of the nature of our client, they require someone with very strong leadership skills, able to oversee and direct small teams across the entire UX delivery process, as well as maintaining a very hands on role, completing design work when necessary. This is a position to lead, shape and grow the Experience team, mentoring other members of the team, whilst also playing a key role in business development.
Our client are looking for someone with strong agency experience who is comfortable working through the entire UX process and even through to final visuals. Someone with a strong level of strategic thinking, able to solve complex business problems who is also willing to take part in user research workshops and usability testing when necessary.
Skills and Experience
Our client need a proven Experience Director coming from a strong agency background who is capable of leading and directing a small team whilst maintaining hands on design involvement. The chosen candidate will need to to be an exceptional conceptual think and problem solver with a complete passion for all things digital. They must demonstrate an excellent knowledge of the entire UX process and have a strong visual portfolio to match.
Other skills include
Proficient knowledge of UX software such as Azure and Sketch
Full proficiency with the Adobe CS
A natural born leader, capable of directing a team of 6-10 people
Excellent verbal communications, both written and verbal
Experience in a client facing position, leading pitches and personally maintaining client relationships
Another European language would be highly beneficial (Particularly German)
